"may I suggest adding just a bit of commentary to go along with these posts you make where you just copy and paste a link to a show? more people would comment, and it would make the threads more interesting."

Rdinero, attached was a copy of the setlist and also a zen comment at the end of the page. :) I appreciate your relaxed and reasonable adult demeanor that you demonstrate here and simply don't believe it to be completely objective to write a review of a show that one did not attend. Therefore, I only write reviews of shows from attendance.

Further, folks check into this place from all over the world on a daily basis and sharing links to great performances is always a positive thing. Having experienced this band live for 23 years and well over 100 shows, I believe the majority of my show links to be high quality performances. Music is a language unto itself and this show stands on its own merit, the music speaks volumes that words simply cannot compare.

Here for you review is an article from that covers someones opinion of the 10/29/77 Dekalb event.

Had they announced this show in the "Chicagoland" area a few days earlier than Thursday October 27th, we definitely would have made the one hour drive west for this one.

ok, that all makes sense. well, thanks for clearing things up for me a bit.

if you don't feel you can objectively review shows you didn't attend, i'm sure you can still point to moments in the show that you believe deserve some recognition. of course, it's up to you. just a suggestion that imo would enhance the thread a bit. it's always nice to hear someone's opinion of a show they recommend.
